Boston offers a true slice of American history. The City proudly displays its colonial past, while showcasing itself as a thriving urban business and cultural community. Boston has successfully merged its past and present, such as the rejuvenated and bustling Faneuil Hall Marketplace and a revitalized waterfront district with a host of new business and residential development. Boston's vast array of neighborhoods can be easily accessed by walking or taking the MBTA. Visit Paul Revere's house in the North End, admire the stately brick townhouses of the Back Bay and Beacon Hill or have dim sum in any of Chinatown's great restaurants.

Explore the many outlying areas such as the City of Cambridge, home to both Harvard University and MIT or venture further out of Boston and visit Lexington and Concord where the Revolutionary War began.

Sports? Regardless of the season there are always some sporting events happening. In the spring there is the world renowned Boston Marathon with elite runners from around the world. You can follow the Boston Red Sox through the spring and summer (and hopefully the fall…) at historic Fenway Park. Gillette Stadium, about an hour outside of the city, is active during the spring with our soccer team, the New England Revolution, and our Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots come the fall. The Fleet Center right in downtown is often filled to capacity in the winter when either the Boston Celtics are shooting hoops or the Boston Bruins scoring goals. With dozens of colleges and universities in the Greater Boston area, collegiate sporting events are always happening, frequently at nominal cost.

The Fenway neighborhood of Boston is home to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The Kennedy Library is close by in the Dorchester neighborhood and President John F. Kennedy's birthplace is just outside the city limits in Brookline. For children, you can't beat the Aquarium, the Museum of Science and the Children's Museum.

For theater and music buffs, Boston offers such attractions as Symphony Hall and the Wang Center for the Performing Arts. From classical to hip hop and ballet to tango, you'll find them all here.
