DIRECTOR OF NEW BUSINESS INTAKE AND RECORDS

Murtha Cullina LLP is currently seeking an experienced individual to manage its new business intake and record retention operations, including the enhancement of its related workflow processes, conflict checking system, and physical and electronic records retention procedures. This is a newly created position in the Boston office, reporting directly to the Firm Administrator. Position will be responsible for management of the firm’s records, both open and closed, and all areas pertaining to the function of hard copy and electronic records storage, both on and off site, in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards and firm policies. Position administers the firm’s conflicts system, including continued policy & procedure development, workflow process implementation and independent analysis of all potential new business and personnel to ensure the capture of client and related party information, including corporate affiliations. Position requirements include a four year college degree, past supervisory and law firm records and conflict systems experience and proven research, workflow and project management skills. Candidates should possess the aptitude to deal practically with complex professional liability and ethical issues, the capacity to manage several high priority projects simultaneously, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and the talent to communicate credibly and effectively with all levels of attorneys and staff. LAW FIRM SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Murtha Cullina LLP has an immediate opening in its Boston office. This position performs multiple financial duties in A/R, A/P, billing and trust accounting. Responsibilities also include general ledger account review and analysis, bank account reconciliation, assisting in budget preparation, preparing ad hoc financial reports and project management. Accounting degree with minimum of five years related experience and advanced level skills with multiple technologies and spreadsheet applications required. Candidate should possess: 1) a high client service ethic and a proven record of delivering exemplary client satisfaction, 2) the ability to communicate credibly and effectively with all levels of attorneys and staff, 3) strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize work and meet demanding deadlines, 4) excellent attention to detail and 5) the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities also include general ledger account review and analysis. Accounting degree with minimum of four years related law firm experience and advanced level skills with multiple technologies and spreadsheet applications required. Candidate should possess: 1) a high client service ethic and a proven record of delivering exemplary client satisfaction, 2) the ability to communicate credibly and effectively with all levels of attorneys and staff, 3) strong organizational skills with the capacity to multi-task and prioritize work and meet demanding deadlines, 4) excellent attention to detail and 5) the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
