Hartford - The Renewable Energy & Efficiency Business Association, Inc. in cooperation with the Clean Energy Finance & Investment Authority and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund are hosting a joint clean energy “matchmaking event” on January 5th at the Rocky Hill Marriott in Rocky Hill, CT from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for companies, colleges and universities, municipalities, institutions and landowners interested in clean energy generation products and energy efficiency measures to speak directly with providers – such as solar, fuel cell and energy efficiency companies. This event also provides opportunities to learn about the new clean energy-related financial incentives available under Public Act 11-80, which was passed by the state legislature during the 2011 legislative session.
The event will include an introductory speech by Daniel Esty, Commissioner of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, as well as brief presentations from the Connecticut Light & Power Company and the United Illuminating Company, Nexamp, Inc., Ameresco and UTC Power regarding available clean energy incentives.
The event will consist of nearly 30 vendor booths showcasing company information, and more than 50 additional companies all providing end-use customers with information and networking opportunities.
