NEW HAVEN, CT (March 9, 2016)… Jennifer Morgan DelMonico, Managing Partner of Murtha Cullina LLP, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO). She was elected at the Board meeting on February 29, 2016.
Founded in 1894, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra promotes orchestral music throughout the region by producing over 50 high quality, affordable Classical, Pops and Family performances each season and through its extensive educational programming. Serving on this Board is a natural fit for Ms. DelMonico, whose undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from Northwestern University. She looks forward to working with the NHSO Board to increase the impact and value of orchestral music in our region.
Ms. DelMonico serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA). She is Vice Chair of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and the Immediate Past Chair of Easter Seals Goodwill Industries. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Federal Practice Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and as a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
Ms. DelMonico is a trial lawyer for defendants in product liability cases, and parties in intellectual property and complex litigation matters. Prior to becoming Murtha Cullina’s Managing Partner in January 2015, she was Chair of the Firm’s Litigation Department. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
