New Haven, CT (August 12, 2016)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Jodie L. Driscoll as an Associate in the Firm’s Business and Finance Department.
As a member of the Business and Finance Department, Ms. Driscoll will assist clients in the areas of Commercial Real Estate and Banking, as well as Affordable Housing and Municipal Law. Ms. Driscoll will represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including financing, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development.
Ms. Driscoll has experience representing developers and public housing authorities in complex multi-layered financing and real estate development transactions; borrowers and lenders in all aspects of secured lending transactions; and public housing authorities in general corporate matters, including entity formation, State and Federal sales and use tax exemptions, corporate documentation, and conduct of public meetings.
Ms. Driscoll is an active member of the Lawyers’ Collaborative for Diversity, Associate Advisory Committee; the National Association of Bond Lawyers; the CONN-NAHRO (Connecticut National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials); REFA (Real Estate Finance Association); the Connecticut Bar Association; and the American Bar Association.
Ms. Driscoll is licensed to practice in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Ms. Driscoll earned her undergraduate degree from Providence College and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. In 2015 she was recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as one of their “New Leaders of the Law.”
