Boston, MA (September 27, 2016)…Murtha Cullina LLP Partner Rachel Faye Smith has been invited to join the governing body of the Boston Bar Association’s Tax Section, by becoming an at-large member of the Tax Steering Committee. The Committee is comprised of key tax practitioners in the Boston legal community.
The Tax Steering Committee supervises and directs the programs, projects, and policies of the Tax Section. It is responsible for organizing programs and discussing policies regarding ERISA, Federal Tax and Business Transactions, International Tax and State and Local Tax issues.
Ms. Smith is a member of Business and Finance Department of Murtha Cullina. She is the Chair of the Employee Benefits practice group and a member of the Labor and Employment and Tax practice groups. She represents a wide range of clients and business sectors, including both public and private companies, venture capital and private equity firms, limited liability companies and partnerships, and nonprofit organizations in the areas of employee benefits, ERISA and executive compensation.
