STAMFORD, CT (December 19, 2016)…Murtha Cullina LLP attorney Kristen L. Zaehringer has been appointed to the Federal Grievance Committee by the Judges of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. She will serve a three-year term through December 31, 2019.
The Federal Grievance Committee is a committee of attorneys that reviews complaints alleging misconduct against lawyers admitted to practice in the federal court.
Ms. Zaehringer is a member of the Murtha Cullina Litigation Department, as well as its Labor and Employment practice group. She is on the District of Connecticut Local Civil Rules Advisory Committee and she serves on the Board of the Friends of New Haven Legal Assistance Association. Ms. Zaehringer recently received the District of Connecticut 2016 Pro Bono Award. In 2015, Ms. Zaehringer received the Fairfield County Business Journal "40 under 40" award and she was recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a "New Leader in the Law." Ms. Zaehringer received her Bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
