HARTFORD, CT (November 11, 2011)… Francis J. Brady, a Partner at Murtha Cullina LLP, was formally recognized by the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center during their November 10th annual Wine Tasting Event.

Mr. Brady was honored for his tireless work and support of the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center and its mission to make a difference in the lives of Connecticut Veterans.

While President of the Connecticut Bar Association (2009-2010), Mr. Brady spearheaded the 2010 Veterans’ Initiative which provides attorneys on a pro bono basis to veterans with disability and related claims before the Veterans Administration.

“It is an honor to be recognized by the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center,” said Mr. Brady. “The work that the organization does is invaluable, and I am so pleased to have been a part of furthering their mission.”

The Connecticut Veterans Legal Center is a nonprofit organization which helps veterans recovering from homelessness and mental illness overcome legal barriers to stable housing, health care and income. The Center has also participated in a state-wide estate planning program for veterans in conjunction with the Connecticut Bar Association and a Discharge Upgrade Program to help veterans correct and amend their military records.

Mr. Brady, who joined Murtha Cullina in 1974, has a broad base of business litigation experience. He has been selected for inclusion in the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in several categories and as Hartford Lawyer of the Year in the category of Bet-the-Company Litigation.
