Finally passed in late March, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) - commonly known as the health care reform bill - will affect employes of all sizes. Some provisions are already in effect, others will apply to your health plans later this year. Additionally, new laws governing genetic information, mental health coverage, privacy and the ever-changing COBRA have recently been enacted. Changes in 5500 forms will also be implemented. This seminar will cover the laws and regulations that you need to understand to manage your benefit programs.
