Short Calendar 101

Michael D. Goldfarb (program Co-Chair) will be part of the faculty presenting "Short Calendar 101" sponsored by the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.  The session will teach new attorneys how to prepare for and effectively present themselves for oral argument before the court.  This will include an overview of Connecticut's short calendar system.  Topics include:

  • What is short calendar anyway?
  • Using the Judicial Branch's E-Services website for short calendar markings
  • When to request oral argument
  • How to prepare for oral argument
  • How to effectively present yourself to the court
