Alena C. Gfeller
Ms. Gfeller represents clients in the areas of commercial law and litigation. Ms. Gfeller’s practice involves banking litigation, business disputes and construction litigation. Ms. Gfeller devotes significant time to lender default issues including foreclosures, modifications, restructures, forbearance agreements and workouts. In addition, since 2008, Ms. Gfeller has devoted a significant portion of her practice to litigation (portfolio) management activities for lending institutions. Ms. Gfeller has vast experience in bankruptcy/creditor’s rights laws, construction lien disputes, contract negotiations/litigation, collections (including FDCPA related issues), landlord/tenant laws as well as prejudgment and post-judgment remedies in Connecticut.
