Louis B. Todisco

Louis B. Todisco is a member of the firm's Health Care Law practice group and the Labor and Employment Law group. He represents health care providers on issues relating to licensure and regulatory compliance, reimbursement and other issues, including long-term care providers, facilities for the developmentally disabled, federally qualified health centers and pharmacies. He has represented both institutional and individual health care clients in contested administrative litigation and appeals to the courts involving licensure, reimbursement and other issues. He has represented clients in matters before the Connecticut Department of Public Health, including various professional licensing boards, the Connecticut Department of Social Services, the Connecticut Office of Health Care Access, and the United States Department of Health & Human Services Departmental Appeals Board and Provider Reimbursement Review Board.

In the labor and employment law area he represents clients on issues relating to the National Labor Relations Act, wage and hour law, equal employment opportunity, Family and Medical Leave Act and Fair Labor Standards Act compliance and other employment matters and has represented clients before the National Labor Relations Board and other state and federal agencies.

He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and Connecticut Health Lawyers Association, where he served as President. He has lectured before various industry groups on health care regulatory and professional discipline issues and on wage and hour, National Labor Relations Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and workplace sexual harassment issues.
