Maury E. Lederman
In his practice of construction law and litigation, Mr. Lederman represents public and private owners, general and subcontractors, materials' suppliers and design professionals. Matters he handles include disputes involving breach of contract, negligence, warranty, defective work, disruption, delay, mechanic's liens, rights and obligations under performance, payment and lien bonds and Chapter 93A violations. Mr. Lederman is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and regularly appears before the Massachusetts State and Federal Courts and the American Arbitration Association. He also serves as an arbitrator and as a mediator and represents clients in mediations and public bid protests.
Mr. Lederman is skilled in assessing and evaluating construction claims and is proficient in analyzing, drafting and negotiating construction contracts of behalf of owners, contractors, subcontractors, materials' suppliers and design professionals.
Mr. Lederman lectures and prepares written material on construction law issues for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc., the American Bar Association's Public Law Section and Lorman Educational Services. He regularly conducts seminars for clients to assist them in addressing business related issues and goals.
