Sara A. Decatur
Ms. Decatur is an associate in the Litigation Department representing individual and corporate clients in a wide range of disputes including product liability, unfair competition, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties and insurance coverage issues from pre-litigation stages through trial, settlement or alternative dispute processes. As an active member of the firm's Construction Law practice group, Ms. Decatur advises owners, contractors and developers on negotiation, arbitration and litigation of contract disputes and contract development. She has experience with payment and bond claims, delay and disruption claims, claims against designers and enforcement of mechanics' liens as well as manufacturer/distributor disputes and negligence actions. Ms. Decatur is also involved in the firm's Motor Vehicle practice group where she has litigated franchise matters and handled appointment, manufacturer-dealer and employment disputes.
While based in the firm's Boston office, Ms. Decatur actively serves clients in federal and state court actions in throughout Massachusetts and New York State.
