Scott M. Gerard
Mr. Gerard has been practicing corporate and commercial law for 30 years. He serves as the firm’s chair of the Community Banking Group. His accounting background has been particularly valuable in his representation of commercial financial institutions in structuring and closing commercial financings of all loan types, including SBA, asset based and commercial real estate mortgages as well as in loan restructures and loan workouts. He also serves as general counsel to many businesses and provides advice with respect to forming and structuring new business entities and joint ventures, corporate reorganizations as well as mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses. In addition, he represents major developers in all phases of real estate development.
