Auto DealershipOur Motor Vehicle Law lawyers represent automobile and truck dealers and other businesses in the motor vehicle industry. Our attorneys have successfully represented dealers in actions involving the statutes that govern dealers' relationships with manufacturers and consumers, in dealership purchase and sale transactions, and in licensing matters. Based upon our years of experience representing dealers in actions against manufacturers, Murtha Cullina was also able to assist the Massachusetts State Automobile Dealers Association in drafting an amendment to the Massachusetts franchise statute (Chapter 93B), enacted in August 2002, that provides greater protection to automobile dealers and simplifies the legal process that dealers must go through when disputes arise under this statute. Murtha's trial lawyers have counseled and represented dealers and other clients in the motor vehicle industry in regard to matters involving dealer terminations and protests, labor and employment issues, sexual harassment and other discrimination claims, wage and hour complaints, consumer protection claims, breach of contract actions, and other commercial disputes. Working with our corporate, trusts and estates, tax, real estate, and environmental lawyers we are able to provide a full range of legal services to our clients. |
