Solar Solutions: Incorporating Photovoltaics into Public Infrastructure
February 3, 2011
Many cities and regions are seeking to provide more sustainable public services. One element of sustainability is clean, stably priced energy to meet community needs. This report examines leading practices in incorporating solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in public infrastructure and demonstrates that PV is a practical and beneficial component of sustainable public services.
Paul R. Michaud, Counsel, is a contributor to this report, which was prepared by Western Resource Advocates as part of its efforts to promote clean energy resources and sustainable cities and regions. The report was funded by grants from the Energy Foundation and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
