Lauren Meris Filiberto Joins Murtha Cullina LLP

New Haven, CT (October 24, 2011) - Lauren Meris Filiberto has joined Murtha Cullina LLP as an associate in the firm's Litigation Department. Ms. Filiberto represents clients in the area of immigration law, including filing employment and family based visa and green card petitions and applications for naturalization.
“We are pleased to have Lauren join our Litigation Department,” stated Hugh Murray, Partner and head of the department. “Her extensive knowledge of immigration related issues and experience with the agencies that handle those issues will broaden the scope of our firm’s existing practices.”
Ms. Filiberto earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont in 1999, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2005.
Ms. Filiberto is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Fairfield County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Law Association.
