Four Murtha Cullina lawyers have been recognized by The American Lawyer’s first annual New England Legal Awards, which celebrates professional excellence in law in Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Our honorees include:
- Distinguished Leaders – Dana Bucin (Connecticut)
- Best Mentors – Marcel Bernier (Connecticut)
- New Leaders in the Law – Deirdre Foley (Massachusetts)
- New Leaders in the Law - Julie Lavoie (Connecticut)
The Distinguished Leaders category recognizes lawyers who had outstanding success or achievement in 2022 in litigation or pro bono efforts, effective advocacy for legislation or social causes, tangible achievements in leadership roles in bar organizations or another significant impact on the legal community.
The Best Mentors category honors senior attorneys who have taken it upon themselves to prepare the next generation of leaders.
The New Leaders in the Law category recognizes lawyers under 40 who have excelled in their practices.
The awards will be presented at a dinner on September 21 in Boston.
