New Legislation Mandates Electronic Filing of Annual Reports

Commencing January 1, 2012, Public Act 11-146 requires most business entities (domestic and out-of-state stock and non-stock corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships organized under Connecticut law or transacting business in Connecticut) to file electronically all annual reports mandated for filing with the Office of the Secretary of the State, unless the Secretary of the State grants an exemption from the electronic filing requirement.
