Connecticut Law Tribune Honors Murtha Cullina Attorney Francis J. Brady

HARTFORD, CT (June 11, 2012)…Murtha Cullina LLP attorney Francis J. Brady is the recipient of the Connecticut Law Tribune’s 2012 Pro Bono Award.

The Pro Bono Award, presented by the Editorial Board of the Connecticut Law Tribune, recognizes an individual attorney’s dedication and service to the community.

“I am honored to receive the Tribune’s Pro Bono Award,” said Francis J. Brady, Partner at Murtha Cullina LLP. “Providing legal services to those in need is a meaningful way to give back and support our community.”

Mr. Brady, who joined Murtha Cullina in 1974, has a broad base of business litigation experience. He has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® publication for several categories over a number of years and, in its 2012 edition, was listed as Hartford Lawyer of the Year in the category of Bet-the-Company Litigation. Mr. Brady is actively involved in several community and professional organizations, serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Hartford Legal Aid Society and as a past Chairman of the Connecticut Bar Association's Pro Bono Committee.

The award will be presented at the Connecticut Law Tribune’s ‘Honors Night,’ which will be held Thursday, June 14th at the New Haven Lawn Club. The Editorial Board of the Connecticut Law Tribune will also present two other awards that evening – the Professor Quintin Johnstone Service to Profession Award to Mark Dubois, and the Publisher’s Award to the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
