Under the Clean Air Act, certain sources of air pollutants are subject to regulations relating to monitoring of emissions and reporting of same. The Environmental Practice Group at Murtha Cullina wants you to be aware that the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has given notice of a public hearing as part of a proceeding to amend portions of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies (RCSA) addressing the control of emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx). One or more of these amendments may affect your operations, therefore, we suggest that you review them and contact us if you have any questions.
Comments on the proposed amendments may be submitted to the attention of Elizabeth McAuliffe at the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. A public hearing is scheduled for October 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
