Murtha Cullina Attorney Authors Science Fiction Book
September 24, 2012
Hartford, CT (September 24, 2012) – Murtha Cullina attorney Kennedy Hudner (Glastonbury, CT resident) recently authored and published science fiction novel ‘Alarm of War.’
The book, published August 18th, offers a look into warfare in space. While simultaneously taking the reader into a new galaxy, the story follows the trials and hardships of four young officers as they train and ultimately act as the last line of defense for their home galaxy.
“It was fun to write the book and very gratifying to see how well it is doing,” Hudner explained. “This was my Sunday afternoon hobby, a welcome respite from reading statutes and contracts. It is set in a war, so it gets rather bloody now and then. I have been accused of creating nice, likeable characters, then killing them off at an alarming rate.”
The novel is the first of a trilogy. He is working on the second book.
Mr. Hudner, partner at Murtha Cullina LLP, is the former Chair of the firm’s Health Care Group. He earned his B.A. from Northeastern University and his J.D. from Yale University, and is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.
