Two Associates Join Murtha Cullina LLP

Hartford, CT (November 9, 2012) – Murtha Cullina welcomes fall associates Graham T. Coates and Stella Szantova Giordano to the firm’s Hartford office.

Graham T. Coates, a 2011 firm summer associate, is an associate in the Energy and Environmental Practice Groups. He assists clients with the regulatory aspects of power generation, including air permitting and compliance, wholesale power market issues and state energy policy, such as renewable portfolio standards. Mr. Coates received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Mr. Coates received his J.D. with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law where he earned a Certificate in Energy and Environmental Law. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut. 

Stella Szantova Giordano, also a 2011 firm summer associate, is an associate in the Litigation Department where she assists clients with contract disputes, commercial litigation, and labor and employment law matters. She is also active in the Banking practice group where she addresses a variety of foreclosure issues. Ms. Szantova Giordano earned her B.A. and M.A. cum laude from Univerzita Mateja Bela in Slovakia. She earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she was a Staff Member of the Quinnipiac Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
