Preservation Massachusetts Honors Murtha Cullina Attorneys

May 3, 2013

Boston, MA (May 3, 2013) – On Wednesday May 1st, Preservation Massachusetts honored Murtha Cullina partners John W. Gahan, III, Deirdre M. Robinson and Frank M. Capezzera with the Paul E. Tsongas Award.

Preservation Massachusetts, the preeminent historic tax credit advocacy group in Massachusetts, has a decades-old history of awarding leaders in preservation. The organization’s annual awards recognize the efforts of the businesses and people that have contributed to the preservation of the Commonwealth’s historic structures.

Beginning in 2013 and running through 2015, the Paul E. Tsongas awards will specifically honor those who work to make preservation projects a reality. This year, the organization honored individuals and firms, including lawyers, accountants, historic consultants, architects and contractors, who provide "behind the scenes" services which are essential to the process of preserving historic buildings.

John, Deirdre and Frank, on behalf of Murtha Cullina’s many clients, have been "front and center" on dozens of preservation projects over the past decade.

John W. Gahan, Deirdre M. Robinson and Frank M. Capezzera are partners in the firm’s Boston office whose practices include affordable housing and real estate.

The Annual Awards dinner took place at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.
