Hartford, CT (May 13, 2013) – Murtha Cullina is pleased to welcome associates Michael C. Markowicz, Lisa P. Staron and Kristen L. Zaehringer to the firm.

Michael C. Markowicz (Hartford, CT office) is an attorney in the firm’s Municipal, Education, and Litigation Practice Groups. He advises municipalities and educational institutions concerning a wide variety of legal issues, including labor and employment matters, municipal tax appeals, and administrative land use appeals. Mr. Markowicz earned his B.A. magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut, and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

Lisa P. Staron (Hartford, CT office) is an attorney in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department. Her practice includes estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving and probate litigation. She is a magna cum laude, Pi Sigma Alpha graduate of the University of Connecticut and received her J.D., tax concentration with honors, from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Kristen L. Zaehringer (Stamford, CT office) is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department, where she represents clients in the areas of commercial litigation, professional malpractice, labor and employment and local counsel services. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the George Washington University and received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
