CBA Honors Murtha Cullina Attorney Francis J. Brady

HARTFORD, CT (June 18, 2013)…Murtha Cullina LLP attorney Francis J. Brady is the recipient of the 2013 Connecticut Bar Association Edward F. Hennessey Professionalism Award.
The award, presented at the Connecticut Bar Association’s June 17th annual dinner, is named in honor of Edward F. Hennessey, a former partner at Robinson & Cole and is given "to recognize and honor a member of the Connecticut bar whose career has manifested a dedication to the highest ideals and standards of the legal profession, so as to provide inspiration to other members of the bar; and to honor the memory of Edward F. Hennessey, whose 41 years at the bar exemplified the criteria of this award."

Mr. Brady, who joined Murtha Cullina in 1974, has a broad base of business litigation experience. He has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® publication for several categories over a number of years and, in its 2012 edition, was listed as Hartford Lawyer of the Year in the category of Bet-the-Company Litigation. Mr. Brady has been actively involved in several community and professional organizations, including service as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Hartford Legal Aid Society, as a member of the Granby Board of Finance, as past Chairman of the Connecticut Bar Association's Pro Bono Committee, and as past Mayor of the Town of Windsor.
