Murtha Cullina Business Breakfast Series Expands to New Haven

August 15, 2013

HARTFORD, CT (August 15, 2013)… Beginning in September, the Murtha Cullina Business Breakfast Series will expand to the city of New Haven, CT.

Each month, the Business Breakfast Series will now be presented in Hartford and New Haven, CT and Boston, MA.

The Business Breakfast Series is a series of seminars designed to give companies and service providers in-depth examinations of topics that affect a wide range of businesses. Firm attorneys look at significant legal and business issues created by each topic, and where possible, suggest concrete solutions. The series is open and informative, and provides opportunity to help guests answer industry questions.

Murtha Cullina Partner David A. Menard began the Business Breakfast Series four years ago as a way to deliver firm clients with added information and educational resources about the laws and regulations affecting their businesses. Seminars include presentations lead by Murtha Cullina attorneys as well as outside professionals in an array of industries.

“With each seminar, our presenters and our guests are our greatest assets,” stated Mr. Menard, Murtha Cullina attorney and founder of the Business Breakfast Series. “Both provide invaluable trade and market perspective on the topics we discuss, as well as new insights on trending issues.”

Murtha Cullina has expanded the Business Breakfast Series to provide this free, educational service to the New Haven marketplace. To host the New Haven seminars, Murtha Cullina has partnered with the Grove. The Grove, a social enterprise initiative of Groundworks Initiatives, is New Haven’s co-working space, where entrepreneurs, non-profits and change agents come together to collaborate, innovate and build their businesses.

Starting in the month of September, the New Haven Business Breakfast Series will be offered at the Grove’s 760 Chapel Street, New Haven location.

Discussing the selection of the New Haven location, Mr. Menard stated, “We have decided to bring the Business Breakfast Series directly to area entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies. This is a niche audience that benefits from the support of the larger business community in order to grow. Our aim is to provide an easily accessible service that supports entrepreneurs, builds business, and ultimately generates positive momentum within our state’s economy.”

In addition to the hour long, monthly seminars held at the Grove, Murtha Cullina attorneys will follow-up each New Haven presentation with free office hours for entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies.

Mr. Menard further commented, “Our goal with this series is to provide all our guests with the knowledge to move their business forward. We tell all our guests to attend for the networking, for the knowledge, for your business and for yourself. We want to make the Business Breakfast Series the most valuable hour of your month.”
