Murtha Cullina Team Runs New Haven Road Race to Benefit the New Haven Legal Assistance Association

New Haven, CT (September 4, 2013) – Murtha Cullina recently reaffirmed its commitment to the New Haven Legal Assistance Association, Inc., by teaming up to run the Labor Day New Haven Road Race.
Team Murtha – Running for Equal Access to Justice – was led by Murtha Cullina attorney Kristen Zaehringer who served as the official team captain. Her efforts brought together 11 team runners and more than $1,500 in support of the New Haven Legal Assistance Association, an official charity of the New Haven Road Race. The Team had the full support of the firm, including partners Elizabeth J. Stewart and Burt Cohen, two long standing members of the boards for the New Haven Legal Assistance Association and the recipients of the 2012 Equal Access to Justice Award.
“It was truly a rewarding and fun experience to create a team and support a cause that benefits our community,” said Kristen Zaehringer, Murtha Cullina attorney and race team captain. “The generosity and good spirit of our firm attorneys, staff and firm family members was tremendous and I thank them for their participation.”
