December 2, 2014 - Murtha Cullina LLP Provides Holiday Donations to MANNA Community Meals

HARTFORD, CT (December 2, 2014)…For the sixth November in a row, attorneys and staff from Murtha Cullina LLP’s Hartford office raised money to benefit Hands on Hartford’s MANNA Community Meals program.

This year the funds were raised through a combination of fundraisers, including a bowl-a-thon, a raffle and a “Community Meals Day” lunch, which together brought in more than $4,000.

With that money, Murtha Cullina supplies MANNA Community Meals with a monetary donation and 100 holiday gift bags filled with warm socks, thermal shirts, toiletries and snacks.

“Whether by donating a raffle prize, bowling or preparing a dish for our “Community Meals Day” lunch, our Hartford office truly worked together as a team to make this fundraiser a success,” said Debra A. Sciarra, Murtha Cullina’s Director of Marketing.  “We are proud of our partnership with MANNA Community Meals, it is important for Murtha Cullina to help those in need in our community.”

Murtha Cullina’s support of MANNA Community Meals doesn’t end at the holidays. Additionally, Murtha Cullina attorneys and staff volunteer once a month during their lunch hour to serve food at the MANNA soup kitchen.
