February 12, 2016 - Matthew J. Hoberman Joins Business and Finance Department

HARTFORD, CT (February 12, 2016)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Matthew J. Hoberman as Counsel in the Business and Finance Department. 

Mr. Hoberman joins the Firm’s Commercial Finance and Lending and Real Estate Practice Groups.  He represents lenders with a particular emphasis on financing, development, construction, asset-based lending and middle markets.  Mr. Hoberman’s practice also includes public and private corporate finance, tribal finance and development and business law. 

“Mr. Hoberman’s primary practice area is bonding and financing, and he also has significant experience in representing real estate developers,” said Thomas M. Daniells, Chair of the Business and Finance Department. “We know he will enhance and strengthen our Department.”

Prior to joining Murtha Cullina, Mr. Hoberman was a partner at Rome McGuigan, P.C.

Mr. Hoberman received his A.B. in International Affairs from Lafayette College and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.  He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
