Boston, MA (May 23, 2016)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Anthony R. Leone as an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. 

As a member of the Litigation practice group, Mr. Leone represents clients in the area of business litigation including commercial, franchise, automotive, banking, director and officer liability, landlord/tenant, and non-compete litigation as well as bankruptcy.  Mr. Leone has experience in matters related to securities and banking law, including regulatory investigations, examinations, and enforcement actions concerning financial service firms and individuals.

Prior to joining Murtha Cullina, Mr. Leone was an Assistant Director for Enforcement at the Massachusetts Securities Division of the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.  He represented the Securities Division as lead counsel in a number of high profile matters.  While a member of the Securities Division, Mr. Leone also served as a member of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) Litigation Forum and Arbitration project groups.

Mr. Leone is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.  Mr. Leone earned his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and worked on the Northeastern University Law Journal. Mr. Leone received his B.A. in Political Science from Boston College.
