Insurance bad faith law continues to develop in Connecticut. Since this Journal last published on this topic in 1993, the landscape for bad faith litigation has been sculpted by Supreme Court decisions that have more precisely defined the reach of common law insurance bad faith and Connecticut Unfair Insurance Practice Act claims. This article is intended to build on the foundation of that earlier article and to focus on more recent developments in Connecticut bad faith law.
