Mr. Marone has been certified as a probate and trust dispute mediator by The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (“ACTEC”). He also advises exempt organizations on taxation and governance issues.

Mr. Marone currently serves as Chair of the Trusts & Estates Department at Murtha Cullina and is the Immediate Past State Chair of the Connecticut chapter of ACTEC. He is also a Director of the Connecticut Farmland Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Connecticut’s working farmlands.

Mr. Marone earned his B.A. from Fairfield University, his law degree from the College of William and Mary, and his L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University.
