Hartford, CT (May 17, 2017)…Murtha Cullina LLP Partner Robert E. Kaelin has been elected the 83rd President of the Hartford County Bar Association (HCBA), the oldest bar association in the United States.

The installation took place at the HCBA Annual Meeting on May 16, 2017.  Mr. Kaelin has been an active HCBA member for 24 years, previously serving as President-Elect from 2016 to 2017 and as Treasurer from 2015 to 2016. 

In his role as President, Mr. Kaelin hopes to preserve the proud tradition of excellence of the HCBA and its members.

Mr. Kaelin is a member of the Murtha Cullina Litigation Department and is the Co-Chair of the Firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group.  He represents clients in the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from Miami University and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
