February 25, 2019 - Benjamin H. Nissim Joins Murtha Cullina LLP Litigation Department

STAMFORD, CT (February 25, 2019)…Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to welcome Benjamin H. Nissim as an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department.

Mr. Nissim represents clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes. His experience includes providing counsel on and litigating matters involving breach of contract, business torts, professional malpractice, and insurance and reinsurance coverage on behalf of businesses and individuals. He has experience in state and federal courts and in arbitration.

Mr. Nissim also frequently represents secured and unsecured creditors and trustees in bankruptcy and bankruptcy-related litigation. He has prosecuted and defended against avoidance actions and other claims in numerous adversary proceedings and contested matters. He has also provided strategic counsel to clients on issues arising out of state insurer rehabilitation and liquidation proceedings.

He advises companies and individuals on cybersecurity and data protection issues and writes and presents on emerging issues in cybersecurity and data protection regulation.

Mr. Nissim received his J.D., magna cum laude, from University of Notre Dame Law School. While in law school, he was the Executive Editor of the Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy. He received his B.A. from Wesleyan University.
