Eric B. Miller
As an associate in the Litigation Department, Eric Miller represents clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes. His experience includes tort, product liability, toxic tort, construction, foreclosure, lender liability, Uniform Commercial Code, prejudgment remedy, unfair trade practice, employment, landlord-tenant, and contract disputes.
Eric litigates matters in both Connecticut State and Federal Courts, and has successfully tried cases to judgment. For example, in March, 2013, he obtained a multi-million dollar judgment in favor of a Lender client in a construction loan dispute with lender-liability counterclaims. Eric was also trial counsel for a commercial landlord in a breach of lease action and obtained a favorable judgment after a full trial.
In addition, Eric works closely with the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center and represents veterans in housing proceedings. He is also certified to represent veterans in benefits cases before the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
Eric earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was a Notes and Comments Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. Eric is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.
