Joseph D. Szerejko


Joseph D.  Szerejko is a member of the Litigation Department and the Municipal and Land Use Practice Groups. 

Joseph represents individuals, municipalities, municipal officials, and business entities, both as plaintiff and defendant, in various litigation matters. He advises municipalities and municipal officials on land use enforcement matters and labor and employment matters. Joseph has argued pretrial motions in Connecticut Superior Court and he has presented evidence on behalf of municipalities at administrative hearings and at hearings before Connecticut Superior Court.

In law school, Joseph was an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. He also served as the Interscholastic Competition Director on the Connecticut Moot Court Board and was a contracts, sports law and labor law research assistant for Professor Lewis S. Kurlantzick. He was the recipient of several CALI Excellence awards including awards for Legal and Cultural Issues in Cyberspace, Complex Litigation and Copyright in the Digital Age.

After law school and prior to joining Murtha Cullina, Joseph clerked at the Connecticut Appellate Court for the Honorable Christine E. Keller, and he then worked for two years as a litigation associate at a prominent law firm in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
