Lissa J. Paris
Lissa Paris is past chair of Murtha Cullina LLP’s Labor and Employment Group. Since receiving her law degree from Yale Law School and joining Murtha Cullina LLP, she has represented clients in the litigation of employment and employee benefit cases. Lissa served as counsel in the Second Circuit case establishing standards in age discrimination claims and bankruptcy pension issues, as well as attorneys’ fees awards in ERISA disputes. She has lectured extensively on employment discrimination and benefit issues in the workplace. An active member of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section, she served as an editor of and contributor to the ABA publication Employee Benefits Law. Lissa recently served as management co-chair of the Section’s Employee Benefits committee. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and on the Board of Governors of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel.
