Patrick D. Coughlin is a member of the Trusts & Estates practice. His practice includes estate planning, estate and probate administration and estate litigation.

He works closely with clients to develop and implement sophisticated estate plans. Patrick represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the administration and settlement of estates and trusts in Connecticut and New York, and prepares Probate and Surrogate’s Court pleadings, nonjudicial settlement agreements, accountings, fiduciary income tax returns, and federal and state estate tax returns.

Patrick is also dedicated to providing pro bono legal services, and has represented veterans, first responders and other individuals in preparing estate plans and in matters before the Probate Courts. Patrick has been recognized by the Connecticut Bar Association for his support of its pro bono programs.
