Richard A. Marone


Richard Marone advises individuals, families and private businesses in the areas of wealth transfer planning, business law and taxation. He assists individuals and private businesses with sophisticated estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax planning and compliance, family business succession planning, and business transactions. Richard has been certified as a probate and trust dispute mediator by The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (“ACTEC”). Richard also advises exempt organizations on taxation and governance issues.

Richard currently serves as Chair of the Trusts & Estates Department at Murtha Cullina and is the Immediate Past State Chair of the Connecticut chapter of ACTEC and the Immediate Past Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association Estates and Probate Section. Richard is also a Director of the Connecticut Farmland Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Connecticut’s working farmlands.
