Ryan M. MacDonald


Ryan MacDonald is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. He has extensive experience representing a diverse range of clients in business and commercial matters involving breach of contracts, internal business disputes, secured claims, sales of goods under the Uniform Commercial Code, unfair trade practices, commercial collections, landlord/tenant and other real estate related litigation.

In addition, Ryan has significant experience representing various parties in bankruptcy proceedings including Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords and parties seeking to purchase assets in bankruptcy cases. He also has extensive experience representing estate representatives and creditors in complex bankruptcy litigation involving preferences, fraudulent transfers and other complex commercial litigation arising in bankruptcy cases.

In his spare time, Ryan is a NCAA Division I college football official with the Mid-American Conference and a coach for Pembroke Youth Hockey.

REPRESENTATIVE CASES

Representing a Chapter 7 Trustee in several matters in the case of In re: Inofin Incorporated currently pending in Boston. Served as co-counsel in multi-day trial involving security interest litigation involving a purported $8 million lien on sub-prime motor vehicle installment contracts.

Represented the Chapter 7 Trustee in all matters in the Get Connected, Inc. case including disputes with secured creditors and all litigation brought in the case.

Represented the Chapter 7 Trustee in all matters in the In re: Blue Water Hld. Corp. case including disputes with secured creditors and all litigation brought in the case.
