Represented the City of Hartford, Connecticut in a five-week jury trial over the construction of a minor league baseball stadium and the termination of the surrounding development rights. Murtha Cullina’s trial team was able to defend the developer’s claim for over $98 million and obtained a unanimous jury verdict in favor of the City.

Represented a commercial property owner at trial in a dispute with tenant, a national healthcare company, and obtained judgment of approximately $1.1 million in the client’s favor.

Represented an international company in a noncompete dispute concerning a former employee’s disclosure of trade secrets to a competitor and obtained favorable resolution.

Ongoing representation of a multinational corporation in product liability cases throughout New England alleging exposure to hazardous substances.

Represented an auto dealer threatened with termination by manufacturer in a dispute concerning performance metrics, assigned territory and inventory allocation and successfully implemented a defense strategy to avoid franchise termination.

Represented a general contractor in class action lawsuit alleging violations of the Massachusetts Wage Act and overtime laws.

Represented a Massachusetts industry association at the Massachusetts Appeals Court in successful defense of claims alleging defamation and violations of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A.

Represented a financial services firm in a dispute with an employee’s former employer concerning alleged violations of noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements.
James F. Radke is an experienced commercial litigator and trial lawyer who handles disputes for businesses across a number of industries.
Jamie represents auto dealers, manufacturers, franchisors, commercial landlords, general contractors, assisted living facilities and many other businesses in connection with contractual disputes, employment discrimination and wage issues, franchise and distributor issues, landlord/tenant matters, collection actions, tort and product liability matters, noncompetition cases and others.
Jamie's practice includes regular appearances in Massachusetts state and federal courts, including bench and jury trials, participation in alternative dispute resolution proceedings and handling appeals in state and federal courts.
Outside of work, Jamie can often be found enjoying live music and the outdoors.
