A litigator in the firm’s Boston office, Zachary has extensive experience representing clients in complex business litigation and insolvency matters in federal and state courts throughout Massachusetts.    

Zachary regularly represents commercial and residential landlords in all aspects of litigation, from the pre-suit stage to trial, and routinely provides counsel concerning their compliance with the ever-changing legal landscape. Using a persistent and tireless approach, Zachary also specializes in fraud investigations and litigation and has extensive experience litigating recovery and judgment enforcement actions.    

Zachary maintains a robust bankruptcy practice and routinely serves as counsel to Chapter 7 trustees and creditors in a wide variety of complex adversary proceedings and contested matters, including fraudulent conveyance, preference and dischargeability litigation. Zachary’s litigation skills provide his clients with a strategic advantage when entering the bankruptcy arena.  

  • First-chaired summary process bench trial resulting in judgment for possession and substantial back rent on behalf of publicly traded REIT.    

  • Represented Chapter 7 trustee in federal court action alleging a claim for aiding and abetting fraud resulting in a significant settlement for the bankruptcy estate.   

  • Prosecuted fraud litigation on behalf of an alternative lender resulting in a six-figure settlement after mediation.
