The Tax Practice and Procedure Group (“TPPG”) provides tax planning, compliance and procedure services to individuals, businesses and other professionals. Business clients include corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies in nearly every industry sector including commercial real estate developers and investors, manufacturers, family-owned and other closely held businesses, professional service firms, entrepreneurs and venture capital groups, and non-profit entities. The TPPG team is composed of seasoned partners from a variety of practice areas who are transactional or litigation lawyers. As a result, they can support the specific or multiple perspectives an individual or business client may require. TPPG lawyers have significant technical experience and training, many holding post graduate degrees, such as Masters of Law Degrees in taxation and other professional designations including certified public accountants. Team members are active public speakers and authors.
Team Members hold leadership positions in state, national and international professional associations related to business and regulatory issues, tax, trust and estate planning, philanthropy and employee benefits, among others. A number of them have been selected to eminent groups in their fields, such as the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Advised recognized leader in the field of professionally installed smart home systems on the complex tax issues and tax matters provisions of the purchase agreement in connection with its acquisition of General Electric Lighting.
