Best Practices for Bidding and Contracting
March 10, 2016
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The process of purchasing goods isn’t as simple as it used to be and can be challenging. This seminar is designed to provide you with useful information and tips to help detect and avoid problems in the procurement process ranging from the bid process to back-end vendor disputes over contract performance. More specifically, this seminar will provide some very helpful “do’s and don’t” for the Bidding Process and helpful tips on the Contract Formation issues. You will hear about real life contract performance problems and ways to address, or not address, those problems. Vendor disputes are inevitable and how you handle those is the difference sometimes from ending up in Court or not. Lastly, you will learn when and how to seek adequate assurance of performance from your vendors.
