NEW HAVEN, CT (March 6, 2018)…Murtha Cullina Partner Andy I. Corea has been reelected Secretary of the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut (SABAC).

SABAC was formed in 2004 to serve as a resource to South Asian lawyers, legal professionals and law students.

Mr. Corea’s is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.  His practice includes trademark prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and licensing for clients in the United States and internationally. He has experience in numerous matters before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and has represented clients in Federal court cases in Connecticut, Delaware, North Carolina, and Texas.

Mr. Corea is a Fellow of the American Bar Association and a member of the Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association and the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut. 

Mr. Corea previously served as a Trademark Examining Attorney for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office from 1999 to 2003.  He received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and his B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
