Drake D. McKenney is a member of the Corporate practice where he represents both domestic and foreign clients in connection with private-capital mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, complex commercial agreements, U.S. inbound investment, corporate regulatory and compliance matters, and general corporate advisory. 

Drake has particular experience with New York law-governed cross-border transactions and has served as outside general counsel in the U.S. to foreign clients.

Drake practices in both the domestic and cross-border spaces, having previously been an associate with the U.S. firms Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, and also having held attorney positions with Brazilian and French law firms.

In addition to practicing, Drake served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law for four years where he taught foreign attorneys enrolled in Fordham's LL.M. programs in International Business and Trade Law, and Banking, Corporate and Finance Law.
