Our construction lawyers are experienced and able to provide efficient and effective service in all types of dispute resolution procedures. We represent owners (public and private), developers, general contractors, surety companies, construction managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, material suppliers and consultants involved in both public and private construction projects.
For more than 50 years our firm has been recognized as a leader in construction litigation, successfully preparing and trying cases in the federal district courts, state trial courts, federal claims court, Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and other administrative bodies. We have been in the forefront of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, dispute resolution boards, mini-trials, partnering and settlement negotiations.
In addition to representing clients, a number of our lawyers serve as arbitrators, mediators and masters in complex construction disputes, providing us with a unique insight into the decision maker's perspective. Beyond their trial and negotiation skills, our lawyers also have many years of experience inside the construction industry. We are active members of industry trade groups and are frequently asked to lecture and present programs to industry professionals and other lawyers. We know the construction process and use that knowledge and experience to the benefit of our clients.
